We show our work.
The Enterprise Intelligence Index is a 0–100 composite that measures institutional preparedness to see across long horizons, relative to how hard the world currently is to read. It fuses two layers nobody else combines.
The two layers
Foresight Readiness (FR) — the belief layer, from the Readiness Assessment. Each respondent is scored across six dimensions:
- Signal Awareness
- Scenario Practice
- Horizon Orientation
- Decision Confidence
- Foresight Cadence
- Translation to Action
Horizon Turbulence (HT) — the world layer, from the live Palanor signal lattice: macro uncertainty, capital tightness, AI margin compression, geopolitical stress, and demand volatility, each normalized to 0–100.
The math
Each answer maps to a 0–100 score; a dimension is the mean of its questions; FR is the mean of the six dimensions.
The Foresight Gap = HT − FR
When the Gap is positive, the world is getting harder to read faster than institutions are learning to read it. Weights are equal in the inaugural wave, and every change is versioned and shown here.
The bands
Discipline
No segment publishes until it clears a minimum sample, so thin-N noise never ships. The inaugural wave is labeled with its sample size. Personal answers are confidential; only aggregates are reported.
